Discover a provocative new conceptual model for the physics of the universe that answers some difficult questions: (1) What is dark matter? (2) What is dark energy? (3) What are virtual particles and antimatter? (4) What explains the Big Four of natural forces? (5) What are gravity waves, really? (6) Why have we been fooled into thinking that energy travels in bundles, called photons? (7) Why does light behave as both a wave and a particle? (8) How do electrons switch orbital shells without crossing the space in between them? (9) What was Albert Einstein's great oversight?

"So, make yourselves comfortable . . . especially you science-minded folks. You in particular will find ol' Bert's universe to be a breath of fresh air . . . a helping hand . . . a welcome realignment to your proverbial undergarments. In the course of these ten minutes, I'm going to put the flow back in your step, rebalance your lopsided particles, and pry your energy out of a bundle."

Recommended for anyone who wants to learn without wading through dull text books. Grand Unification is a humorous and entertaining way to learn aspects of science that can be confusing and often hard to understand. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn in a fun and enjoyable way. This book is definitely a favorite. 4 Stars — DaveReadsALot
Fast introduction to atomic theory. I recommend this as a fast introduction to the new theories about the structure of the atom and how the universe came to be, but done in a way and with analogies to help those of us with only a fundamental understanding. See how the new theories are changing the way we have always thought of the atom and the universe. |
